The North American Quality Lead for Modular Data Centers will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality assurance and control within the modular data center division. This role involves developing and implementing quality systems, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining key quality metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:
Quality Systems Management:- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all quality processes are documented, standardized, and continuously improved.
Inspection and Compliance:- Oversee and conduct inspections of modular data centers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate quality audits and inspections.
- Ensure all products and processes meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
Quality Control:- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and reliability.
- Analyze quality control data and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for quality issues.
Reporting and Metrics:- Develop and maintain key quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership:- Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are up-to-date with the latest quality standards and practices.
Customer and Supplier Relations:- Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure their satisfaction.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
Continuous Improvement:- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the data center or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require travel to various modular data center sites across North America.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
