Customer Scheduling and Support Representative-Regular Full TimeBuffalo, NY Join the DiVal Safety Equipment in our Buffalo, New York headquarters as a member of our dynamic and fast paced Training Division. The focus of this position is to assist the training team in providing the best possible experience for both internal and external customers. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take incoming calls regarding Training classes, site safety, schedules, invoicing etc.
- Schedule classes based on customer inquiry and availability.
- Answer questions and provide information on Training to customers, DiVal Sales Reps, and Customer Experience Reps.
- Produce & follow up on quotes for requested trainings/site safety.
- Receive and verify all class paperwork (billing) and then turn into DiVal billing department for processing (daily).
- Arrange to be done or produce customer certificates for classes performed by subcontractors.
- Enter Subcontractor Trainer invoices and turn into DiVal Accounts Payable department.
- Assist in the creation and updating of training materials and curriculum.
- Participate and deliver occasional safety talks and meetings.
- Review requests for materials, supplies etc. from Compliance Specialists and approve, acquire, or make recommendations on.
- Performs additional duties and tasks as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal a MUST.
- Knowledge and or ability to understand and interpret 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 (OSHA Regulations).
- Ability to speak in front of groups and public speaking.
- Critical thinking skills in development of solutions/approaches to safety issues.
- Possess a positive attitude, a team player.
- Experience using: - Computers, printers, mobile devices, and related office equipment. - Windows, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet Explorer.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs - 40lbs on a repetitive basis.
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent with associate degree.
- Relatable EH&S degrees, certifications, and experience desirable.
