Description
The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Prince George's County, Senior Services Division, is seeking Customer Service Representatives for Laurel Beltsville Senior Activity Center. Candidates will be responsible for the operation of the front desk. Knowledge of facility software, schedules, programs, fees and policies preferred. The schedule will be days, evenings and weekends.
The salary range will be $15.00/hour - $15.52/hourdependent on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
Examples of Important Duties
* Provide a wide variety of support to Managers;
* Create, review, and submit computer documents and paperwork for approval and processing;
* Must consistently display a positive attitude and remain knowledgeable of all facility activities and procedures;
* Understand or have the ability to learn understanding facility registration and point of sale software (RecTrac);
* Relay messages and distribute mail to the appropriate staff. Assist in Maintaining up to date files;
* Assist in monitoring necessary administrative supplies and materials to obtain timely replenishment for efficient operations;
* Assist with monitoring the work area/facility with a conscientious effort to promote the efficient use of supplies and materials;
* Display a positive attitude. Greet customers, answer phone calls in a timely manner and transfer all calls to the appropriate staff;
* Communicate with supervisors and managers of any concerns and/or needs of the office and its equipment;
* Open and/or close the facility as required and completing all security procedures;
* Ability to understand and carry out verbal and/or written instructions efficiently and effectively. This will include the ability to complete daily reports. Effectively resolve any/all customer service issues in a timely manner consistent with M-NCPPC policy
Minimum Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Preferred candidates will possess a High School diploma with two years of progressive customer service experience and cash handling experience. College experience preferred
* Knowledge of Prince George's County Parks and Recreation facilities and facility software (RecTrac), schedules, programs, fees and policies preferred.
