New June Bakery is a small women owned micro & online bakery in Philadelphia, PA. We offer a seasonal selection of uniquely designed cakes & pastries that are not only beautiful, but delicious too.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Customer Service Coordinator & On-Site Bakery Administrator to join our growing 7-person team.
The ideal candidate for this position has at least 2 years experience in a professional office OR restaurant/ bakery setting.
A successful candidate will be expected to have exceptional time management, be VERY detail oriented, as well as flexible and adaptable to a fast paced and ever evolving order and fulfillment schedule.
Candidate Should Have Extensive Experience:
- communicating with customers (via e-mail, phone and in-person)
- organizing data across customer e-mails and calendars (and POS a plus)
- using Google / Microsoft Suite: Sheets, Word, Powerpoint, Gmail, Google Docs
- Preferred but not required: using Shopify / Squarespace for order management
Chief Tasks will Include:
- Answering new order inquiries
- Managing bakery pick-up and delivery schedule
- Communicates Customer Pick-Up reminders & general information to all clients
- Quality control + packaging of all orders
- Inventory related to Packaging supplies, classes and events
- Attends and assists in the coordination of off-site events
- Staffs all customer pick-ups & necessary deliveries
- Sends customer thank you emails
- Assists bake team with inventory sourcing (cleaning supplies, misc ingredients & equipment)
- Bakery organization
Bonus qualifications:
- Social Media, Photography, Marketing
Hours & Location:
- We are seeking a candidate to work 5-6 days a week, 40 hours .
- This position is expected to staff at least 2 Saturday shifts per month (manning pick-ups, assisting with retail operations, DELIVERING cakes)
- Monday option for remote work; Tuesday to Friday some in-bakery work required, some remote work optional.
- We are currently located at 5401 Tacony St Philadelphia PA 19137 (Bridesberg Philadelphia area) but will relocate to Brewerytown/Fairmount neighborhood in Fall 2024.
