We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our growing team and play a crucial role in engaging with property owners who may be interested in selling their homes to us.
Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for property owners who reach out to us via inbound calls or online web forms. This is a client-facing role where you will speak with homeowners and listen carefully to their needs, concerns, and motivations. You will conduct a qualifying call to determine whether their property meets our acquisition criteria, while also offering a high level of empathy and understanding. Your goal will be to build rapport, make homeowners feel heard, and guide them through the next steps of the process, all while ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound Communication: Respond to inbound calls and web form submissions from property owners who are interested in selling their properties.
- Qualifying Calls: Conduct initial qualification calls to gather important information about the property, homeowner's motivations, and selling timeline.
- Empathy & Listening: Demonstrate deep empathy and active listening skills, ensuring property owners feel supported, valued, and understood during each conversation.
- Problem-Solving: Address concerns or questions property owners may have, providing accurate and helpful information while aligning solutions with their needs.
- Sales Ability: While maintaining a compassionate approach, guide property owners through the process, highlighting the benefits of working with our company and encouraging them to move forward with the sale.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of each conversation in our CRM system, including relevant details about the property, homeowner, and next steps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Acquisitions team to relay information and ensure smooth transitions for interested homeowners.
- Follow-up: Conduct follow-up calls as necessary to answer additional questions, provide updates, or ensure that the homeowner is satisfied with the service.
Qualifications:
- Empathy: Strong ability to listen actively and put yourself in others' shoes, particularly when dealing with sensitive situations such as property sales.
- Sales Skills: Comfortable guiding property owners through a process while gently selling the benefits of working with our company.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate information clearly and professionally.
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in customer service, inside sales, care coordination, logistics sales, or other roles requiring a high level of empathy, problem-solving, and relationship-building. Experience in hospice care, home health, or insurance sales is highly desirable.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and other communication tools.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to accurately document conversations and follow up in a timely manner.
- Positive Attitude: Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a positive, solution-focused approach.
