POSITION SUMMARY:
Working under close supervision, supports Base Store Operations by performing general duties including customer notification, customer service, stocking shelves and light housekeeping.
PRINICIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Contacts customers regarding backorders, on a daily basis
2. Assists customers with the location of products
3. Determines the location of items in stock by using the computer
4. Re-stocks shelves as they become depleted
5. Performs light housekeeping duties in order to maintain the cleanliness of the racks, counters and customer service areas
6. Assists other associates, as needed
7. Performs other duties, as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School graduate or equivalent preferred
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
3. Basic computer skills; MS Outlook and Point of Sales System
4. Must be able to lift 25 pounds
5. Ability to spend up to 80% of work time standing or moving within the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting and walking on a frequent basis
