City/State Elizabeth City, NC Overview Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is currently hiring a Clinical Support Associate. Full-time, Rotating Shifts Health care experience/medical terminology strongly preferred. This position requires a lot of walking and on being on your feet most of the shift. The Clinical Support Associate supports the provision of safe patient care under the direct supervision of the professional nurse. The CSA will be responsible for visiting with patients and families offering nourishment as appropriate. Orienting new admissions to room to include communication white board, nursing bundles, comfort kit, explanation of my health folders, routine of linen change. Reinforcing the patient's and family's confidence in caregivers. Using tact and diplomacy when communicating with patient and family. Communicate effectively with staff regarding any concerns. Forwarding compliments/complaints in a timely manner to the appropriate person. Nursing personnel are always responsible for patient care, safety, and welfare.
