Position: Customer Service Coordinator I

Department: Customer Service

Work Location: Chambersburg, PA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.

* Initial training will be onsite, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM. After training, you will be given the opportunity to work a hybrid work model.

What you will be doing:

Audits, prepares, and processes manual, EDI, and internet orders. Ensures customers' expectations are met and enforced by the Warehouse, Accounts Receivable, EDI, and the Marketing Departments. Fulfills the sales business needs by accurately processing sales orders in the most efficient and cost-effective way, while maintaining customer expectations and demands.

* Processes EDI and non-EDI sales and sample orders for Tier 3 customers.

* Maintains basic customer records; shipping addresses and item cross references.

* Communicates order information to customer and/or Sales Representatives via phone calls, e-mails, TEAMS, and ticketing systems.

* Supervises sales orders to ensure they are processed to the warehouse in the specified timeframe.

* Tracks shipments to ensure timely delivery by our carriers and updates trackers as required.

* Answers basic internal and external inquiries related to the order to cash cycle.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

* Excellent oral and written English communication skills

* Good multi-tasking skills, teamwork skills, and time management skills. Good organizational skills.

* Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general equivalency diploma

* 2+ years in related experience

* Typing 40 WPM

* Proven experience filing, data entry, document control, faxing and copying

* Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Acrobat, Java and Win Zip

* Warehouse knowledge which includes order picking, shipping/receiving, bar code scanning, Bill of Landings, invoicing and inventory

* Accounts Receivable knowledge which includes invoicing, collections, forecasting, item master, managerial and financial reporting

* Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
