CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR ABOUT THE JOB: Become part of a growing business in the exciting construction industry. Advanced Systems, Inc. of Suncoast is one of Tampa Bay's Premier Flooring Vendors, have been servicing the Residential and Commercial construction industry with all their flooring needs since 1990. Advanced Systems services the greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota/Bradenton Areas. The Customer Service Coordinator will work closely with the executive management team while interacting with team members at all levels. The Customer Service Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and supporting day-to-day operations and scheduling of the customer service department. This position is an office-based position in Tampa, FL. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Field homeowner phone calls to set-up and schedule service calls. Communicate with builders, supervisors and homeowners to establish service dates, provide updates, and reschedule as needed. Work daily with service technicians and installers to schedule service calls. Order all materials needed for the service job, track materials until received and then stage materials for the job. Organize material and paperwork for service technicians. File claims and follow-up as needed with suppliers for defects, etc. Schedule inspections for supervisors, managers, and supplier representatives as needed. Communicate with builder via email for completed work orders and for billing as needed. Provide the builder with a weekly update of all open service calls via Excel spreadsheet. Request and track EPO's for extra work required outside of original scope. Order and track stock materials for warehouse. Other tasks at managements discretion. REQUIRED SKILLS: 5+ years of relevant work experience High School Diploma or GED Required Must be proficient in Microsoft Platform (Excel, Outlook, Word) Must be able to compose and respond to emails promptly and professionally. Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines, high level of organization required. Produce and maintain paperwork or logs as required. Need to possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. Always Display a cooperative attitude. Must have strong customer service skills. Interact with all levels of internal team members and external customers in a professional and supportive manner. Must pass drug screening and background check and maintain drug free status. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
