Job Description:
Health Information Research - Customer Service Assistant Washington DC or Baltimore MD area MUST: 1+year of experience Must be able to respond to Spanish speaking callers verbally and in writing Experience working in the health information field and healthcare terminology knowledge Ability to conduct research Strong customer service skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite as well as various databases Confident in ability to prepare and give presentations using Power Point Experienced creating spread sheets and reports using Excel Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment Bachelors Agree in a Science or health-related field DUTIES: Respond to inquiries by phone calls, email, and Live Chat Answer incoming telephone calls and assess callers needs Draft responses to inquiries in Spanish and English Gather data and conduct research Scan health literature information that will be assist with responding to inquiries. Participate in developing materials and publications that will be used to respond to medical inquiries Review health-related and medical journals to articles Prepare monthly presentations for continuing education related to treatment in the healthcare field and of rare diseases Provide support at professional healthcare meetings Perform other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
