Answers inbound telephone calls from merchants and provides service to resolve credit card terminal issues. Terminal troubleshooting activities include addressing transaction and device error messages, resolving terminal dialing and communication errors, programming equipment, performing downloads (varying levels of complexity including full, partial, multiple locations, etc.) Representatives work in a real-time call center environment and must access multiple systems to obtain information to resolve terminal issues.**

**The POS Rep makes decisions based on business rules and terminal requirements. He/she is responsible for resolving most questions and problems and refers issues outside of the basic parameters of the job function to higher levels. They must make on-the-spot, logical decisions regarding service and terminal processing.**
