Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service & Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless processing of customer orders, effective management of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have expertise in frozen food logistics and possess strong skills in data entry, Excel, and various enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Receive and accurately input customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date, and in-line with contractual requirements.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries, monitor shipment progress, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their orders. Address and resolve inquiries or issues promptly, maintaining a customer-first approach. Review order to ensure full pallet/full layer requirements are met with each order.
- System Utilization: Use Fishbowl, QuickBooks, One World Sync, Enterprise systems to track and manage order status, inventory, and customer information.
- Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions.
- Inventory Management: Review inventories available at each warehouse for shipment to optimize shipments/manage inventory
- Frozen Food Logistics: Apply knowledge of frozen food logistics to ensure that products are handled, stored, and transported according to industry standards and best practices especially when it comes to full truck load shipments.
- UPC Management: Create and manage UPC numbers for new and existing products
- Daily Sales Report: Update internal team with daily sales reports, shipping manifests and transfer orders
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure alignment and address any operational challenges. Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to team goals.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to order processing, inventory, and customer feedback. Use insights to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in order management, logistics, or a related field, preferably with experience in frozen food logistics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with Fishbowl, QuickBooks, Enterprise systems.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $50,000-75,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skill set, performance, licenses and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
