**Description**

To qualify for the role, the ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a customer service position. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Review & enter customer orders.

Identify shortages and work with customer on updating POs.

Access Customer Portals to receive, acknowledge and invoice orders.

Resolve issues with customers in a quick and timely manner.

Determine shipping and inventory needs to maximize warehouse space.

Work with other facilities to maintain inventory levels of shared product.

Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping scheduling & sales team informed of all orders outside of the customer forecast.

Identify opportunities to work with customers to maximize loads.

Work with internal departments to find ways to increase service levels and efficiencies.

Identify, research, and reconcile inventory issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to identify challenges and provide solutions to resolve the issue.

Understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow.

Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; can see opportunities for synergy and integration across all functions.

Excellent customer care and focus; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

Flexibility

Strong grammar and excellent communication skills

High volume of correspondence by email and phone

Strong Data Entry

Strong computer skills, experience with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors in business administration or related work experience

3+ years customer service experience

SAP or SAP like ERP systems

EDI system experience (SPS, Ariba, Various Customer Portals) preferred

Logistics & Warehousing knowledge a plus
