Role:

The Manager of Customer Service is a pivotal leadership role in order fulfillment, customer service, logistics, and data management at Honey Smoked Fish. You will be asked to ‘roll up your sleeves' and tactically execute, but also lead a small customer service team and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage customer orders from B2B retail and wholesale customers and website orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing and adherence to lead times and MOQs.

· Oversee and manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for Walmart, distributed through DOT Foods (3PL). Utilize Retail Link / Luminate / NOVA systems for sales and inventory reporting insights.

· Oversee and manage all EDI partners through SPS Commerce, a third-party processing platform, including onboarding new EDI customers as needed.

· Maintain and grow partnerships with refrigerated LTL and FTL freight carriers including negotiating rates and monitor costs.

· Oversee customer specific requirements related to labeling and product setups.

· Lead collaboration across functions including sales, production, procurement, finance, and food safety.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree, preferred.

· Minimum of five (5) years experience in a customer service / logistics experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.

· Prior experience with Walmart and Vendor Managed Inventory, preferred.

· Innate problem solver that collaborates well in a food manufacturing environment.

· Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment – ‘sleeves rolled up' approach.

· Operate with a sense of urgency, ownership, and maintains strong attention to detail.

The role to be located in-office at our North Denver, CO headquarters facility. Travel requirements are minimal.
