The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.What We're Looking for:At Hood Container Corporation, we are searching for a Customer Service Manager to lead the Customer Service department of Estimators and Customer Service Representatives in our Lebanon, TN manufacturing facility (Nashville Area). The Hood Nashville location was integrated into the Hood Companies in 2019. Our capabilities include digital printing, lithographic printing, laminating, and multiple converting options including Rotary Die and Flexo. As the Customer Service Manager, you will lead a department of nine, and the team will look to you for technical guidance and alignment of operational plans to meet short and long-term goals for safety, quality, waste, production, and ultimately, our customers. How You Will Contribute:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of eight Customer Service Representatives.
  • Maintain and resolve warehouse aging with assistance of plant management, sales force and department personnel.
  • Take customer orders either directly from customers or from sales representatives.
  • Use Amtech computer software to provide order estimates, enter orders, and to maintain order backlog and customer product inventory.
  • Handle customer inquiries, questions, and complaints; provide timely follow-up.
  • Maintain positive customer, vendor, and coworker relationships.
  • Attend daily production meetings.
  • Coordinate quarterly and yearly inventory functions with Inventory Manager and Controller.
  • Assist all departments in the successful completion of customer orders.
  • Work directly with Sales Manager & General Manager to ensure Customer Satisfaction wherever possible, making diplomatic suggestions and seeking other possible alternatives.
  • Work directly with Design Team to ensure order processing details are captured in the Amtech Order.
  • Use Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to communicate order status, relay messages, etc.
  • Other tasks assigned.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • 3+ years related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand oral/written instructions.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions.
  • Highly motivated and organized individual with strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work with others.
