We are seeking a professional Customer Service/Order Processing Specialist to join a manufacturing company's corporate office in Melville, NY! The customer service team plays a key role in the company's success by directly helping our customers. The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for supporting clients (dealers/distributors, sales representatives, and end-users) and helping build the company's brand as the premier provider in their industry. We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative or Account Manager with order entry/processing/management experience. Industry experience is preferred, but not required.   • Manage all aspects of customer inquiries and requests to include product selection, sample and catalog requests, non-stock items, basic returns, price quotes, special pricing, and status of orders
  • Handle requests for domestic and international customers
  • Work closely with our sales team
  • Assist in organizing freight requirements for international shipments
  • Provide information regarding products and promotional opportunities to customers
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email using proper phone and email etiquette
  • Maintains established performance levels set by the company
  • Builds rapport and trust with clients to maximize customer loyalty
  • Demonstrate competency in products and services as offered by the company
  • Continue to improve product knowledge and customer service skills
