Silver Sand Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative
Titan America has an immediate opening for a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative in the Deerfield Beach Office in FL. This position will report to the Silver Sand Supervisor. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction during order taking, dispatching, scheduling of drivers and deliveries, delivery efficiency monitoring, and inter-departmental
- Successfully complete training in concrete manufacturing and customer service (provided).
- Comply with all companys Safety Policies, attend department and site safety meetings, and participate in safety committees and programs (Near miss reporting, STAs, Workplace Exams, Pre-Shift Inspections, etc.)
- Responsible for order taking, scheduling, dispatching, and customer relations.
- Maintain efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system.
- Monitor external factors such as weather and traffic to ensure optimized routing of resources.
- Resolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual and difficult customer complaints.
- Provide customer support to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Employ problem-solving techniques to resolve complex issues.
- Develop professional criteria of when to engage other parties.
- Have a positive attitude and strong communication skills with customers and other departments.
- Able to work in a team setting and achieve team and company goals.
- Able to multi-task and complete daily workload in a timely fashion.
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and outside agencies personnel.
- Works safely with a sense of urgency.
- Other duties as required.
- Safety awareness and a fast-paced environment.
- Must have an associate degree or concrete dispatch experience. Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Safety focused and able to participate in safety-centered work culture.
- Logistics experience of moving products from Point A to Point B and 1-3 years of experience in a Dispatch Call-Center is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with professional decorum over the phone, as well as written.

- Minimal travel when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to speak, read and write English and Spanish.
- Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Must possess a valid FL drivers license.
