Job Summary: We're seeking a caring and organized Hospice Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our administrative team. As a CSR, you'll provide exceptional clerical support to our hospice team, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care. There is a one weekend of month clerical on call obligation.
Responsibilities:
* Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors
* Manage patient records, files, and documentation
* Coordinate scheduling, admissions, and discharges
* Provide administrative support to clinicians and management
* Process intake referrals, verify insurance, and manage data entry
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
* Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent patient care
* Scheduling One Weekend a month.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare
* Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
* Proficient in MS Office, electronic medical records (EMRs), and other software
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Preferred
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
