Job Summary:This position is responsible for servicing customers by providing product and service information, resolving product and service problems, and process orders. Serve as a customer advocate between the customer and the company.Here's What You'll Get To Do
- Maintain broad knowledge of clients, products and services of organization
- Accurately process phone, fax and email quotes and orders by data entry
- Enter and track orders in our AS400 system
- Communicate with customers to determine expected delivery date and time
- Answer telephone and direct callers to appropriate department
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustments; following up to ensure resolution
- Help all co-workers when needed
- Other duties as assigned

- A minimum of 1-year customer service experience
- Computer experience, ability to accurately type numbers
- Strong organizational and listening skills
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment to meet required deadlines
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and specifications
- Must be able to read and perform mathematical calculations, and write measurements in number fractions at a high school level
- Previous customer service experience in glass industry preferred
- Good problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Constant sitting (8+ hours), typing/keyboarding; ability to use wrists/hands/fingers.
