The Recycling Customer Service Representative acts as the key point of contact between the customer, logistics companies, and suppliers by managing the internal and external movement of recycled materials.
- Schedules the collection of recyclable material from DS Smith packaging facilities
- Works with freight carriers to source and coordinate the scheduling of pick-ups and deliveries to/from the DS Smith facilities or to external customers
- Looks for ways to improve Logistics performance in terms of price and quality
- Investigates and resolves price discrepancies and other customer concerns
- Maintains KPI reports
Ideal candidate must possess at least two years of the following:
- Previous experience in logistics and/or transportation planning
- Previous experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Previous experience in business-to-business Customer Service
