**Description**

In alignment with Upstate Niagara Cooperative Mission and Values, the DSD Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Upstate Niagara Cooperative customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as team members within the Customer Service Department. Provide order processing and sales support services to customers.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

Includes the following, and any other duties that may be assigned by a supervisor:

* Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.

* Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.

* Process customer returns according to established department policies and procedures.

* Work closely with the Credit Department to resolve disputed credit items.

* Follow daily work plan and telephone call schedule. Notify DSD Customer Service Supervisor of any deviations to the schedule or problems with accounts.

* Record daily activity for scheduled calls.

* Data entry of received customer orders.

* Sell on going promotions endorsed by Company.

* Record and communicate all customer complaints.

* Provide timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns.

**Required Qualifications****:**

* Associates degree preferred

* Previous Customer Service or telemarketing experience.

* Proficient in Microsoft Windows; Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

* Ability to work in a fast paced, detailed oriented environment.

* Must be able to work Saturdays and some holidays.

* Must be able to work a schedule with varying start times and days off.
