Location Roanoke, Virginia, United States Category Energy Efficiency Posted Date 01/18/2022 Job Id 10474 JOB DESCRIPTION TRC is a global consulting firm providing environmentally advanced and technology-powered solutions for the oil and gas, power, and infrastructure industry.

TRC is seeking a **Customer Service** Representative for our program in *Southwestern Virginia.* You will assist customers who want to participate in Energy Efficiency rebate programs by: answering incoming calls, responding to emails, processing incentive applications, and making outbound calls to utility customers that have expressed interest in participating in the programs.

Your ability to communicate both verbally and in writing allow you to discuss program opportunities, benefits to participation, and the participation process, as well as scheduling appointmentswith contractors. You understanding of task prioritization, time management, and customer communication allow you to control the pace and flow of inquiries/requests. Your professionalism extends to active listening, empathizing with customers, acknowledging their concerns, and providing them with suitable solutions.

**Key responsibilities include:**

* Follow policies and procedures as outlined and quickly gather information to determine a customers needs.

* Apply problem-solving skills and resolve the inquiry/request effectively.

* Use the internet, scheduling software and other available tools to search/retrieve information needed to address the inquiry and schedule appointments.

* Document information from the inquiry in an accurate and efficient manner and tracking requests until closure.

* Interact with management and subject matter experts as necessary and take direction within a team setting and complete team-related work promptly.

* Data entry, review and processing of incentive applications including research/resolution of problem applications and outreach to customer for required information.

**Required Qualifications**

* Previous inbound/outbound call center experience.

* Proficient withMicrosoft Office.

* Possesses excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.

* Detail orientatedand able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Exhibits professional demeanor and top-notchcustomer serviceskills.

* Ability to multitask andwork independentlyas well as effectively within a team environment.

* Previous experience withCRMand scheduling software.

**Additional Suggest Qualifications**

* Previous experience in energy efficiency and/or utility sector.

* BilingualEnglish/Spanish speaking experience preferred.

* Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work with minimal direction.

* Demonstrates strong computer skills with proficiencies inMicrosoft Officeand internet searches. Ability to quickly learn proprietary software.

*Note: The work hours for this position may range between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays.*
