Responsibilities:This position reports to the assigned Donor Services Supervisor. Responsible for greeting and registering donors.
Essential Functions:
Greet and register all presenting donors professionally. Provide customer service by acknowledging the donor in a respectful manner, and striving to provide each donor with a positive and pleasant experience which would encourage his/her return. Observe all safety/OSHA policies and FDA and AABB guidelines & regulations. Adhere to all SOP associated with the registration process. Foster team work and the ability to work well with different personality types, adaptable to different working surroundings, flexible and dependable, as well as able to meet irregular working hours, including weekends. Demonstrate knowledge of and accurately complete specific paperwork associated with directed, autologous & therapeutic donors. Maintain donor/patient confidentiality at all times.
Non Essential Functions:
Assist with treatment of donor reactions as necessary. Maintain neat, clean work space. Assist in restocking, careful set up and packing up equipment, and oversee refreshment area as appropriate. Perform any other duties as requested by Donor Services Supervisor or Management team.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Superior customer service skills are essential in this role. The individual must be well organized, attentive to detail, adapt easily to varied work conditions and scheduled hours, adapt easily to change; must present with pleasant, positive attitude; demonstrate honesty and dependability.
Must be able to fluently speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
This position is full time 35 hours a week. Starting pay of $18.02.
