Job Title: Customer Care Company: Confidential Location: Topsham, Maine Reports to: Plant Manager Position Summary: The Customer Care team member will provide excellent service to our external customers. This role is perfect for someone who likes to keep busy, problem-solve, stay challenged, and think creatively. Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone inquiries, proper resolution of customer issues
- Check voice mail daily and regularly during the day - respond to calls or refer as appropriate
- Respond to email, live chat and walk-in inquiries
- Track customer inquiries via FedEx and UPS as needed
- Assist customers with orders, product, and website questions
- Serve as an order expert, keeping current on all inventory and order trends; maintain inventory reports daily.
- Process all daily orders including but not limited to Drop Ships, Direct to Consumer, Wholesale, and Walk-Ins
- Create and maintain order processing procedures.
- Act as the company liaison to partners submitting orders.
- Special projects (TBD) as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements: Must have at least 1-2 years' experience with customer relations or related field Excellent technical skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) Must be a fast learner, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, analytical skills, and ability to work independently and on the team. High level of oral and written communication skills to effectively deal with internal and external persons Must perform duties in an independent manner with minimal direction and supervision Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
