Job title: Customer Service Representative

Job type: Full Time - Hybrid (after training and efficiency period).

Location: 101 Jegs Blvd., Delaware, OH 43015 or 751 E 11th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday: 7am - 7pm - (schedule varies based on availability with earliest start time of 9am EST)

Training (onsite): Monday – Friday: 8am – 4:30 pm (30-minute lunch)

Job Summary:

JEGS has immediate openings for experienced Customer Service Associates to work in our Columbus, OH, or our Delaware, OH Call Centers. If you are passionate about providing quality customer service and enjoy working in a high-volume customer-focused environment, this could be your opportunity.

You will:

  • Work in an environment that requires the majority of customer interaction to be either verbal (phones) or written form (account notation and email)
  • Provide a customer service mindset, proficiency in consulting/advising customers, answering inquiries and providing clear and concise information/resolutions, and managing difficult situations with customers
  • Execute transactions (Orders, order status, tracking shipments with carriers, stock availability, ETA, price matching, customer service credits, detailed account notation, etc.)
  • Use verbal communication to help customers with their orders.
  • Execute transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Multi-task, type while listening, view multiple screens and systems
  • Up-sell products (Extend warranty)

You have:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a call center is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 as well as general computer aptitude
  • Upbeat and concise verbal and written customer service skills required
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to apply active listening skills
  • Ability to use basic math
