AdvanTec Marine is looking for an experienced and energetic Customer Service Representative to join our Sales department in Lynnwood, Washington.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing the first point of contact for new customers. The CSR is mainly focused on the customer and the orders in the beginning of their cycle. The CSR1 is self-motivated and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Integrity, vision, professionalism, and passion are key components of this position.

Essential Functions for this Role are:

  • Answer 75% of all incoming calls, transfer calls as appropriate, speak to new customers and enter their information into the CRM software.
  • Respond to simple customer inquiries by telephone or email to provide non-technical problem resolution
  • Enter simple orders into the ERP software, determine due date, confirm due date to customer, notify other departments of any action needed.
  • Use CRM software to monitor and track front end process of the order to ensure its continued movement through the organization.
  • Generate and distribute weekly reports
  • Order Office supplies, Check the mail daily and maintain the office cleanliness
  • Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years Customer Service or Call Center experience
  • Quickly learn and navigate new technology systems and applications
  • Possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop rapport with customers over the phone
  • Actively listen and communicate with our customers, like an expert
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Meet the needs of internal and external customers with efficiency, team spirit and courtesy
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm
  • Detail oriented and able to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Positive outgoing attitude; with a professional demeanor
  • A proven track record of success and a stable employment history
