**Job Description**

The Customer Service Representative will work closely with sales, operations and existing customers to handle all order management activities. This will include order management, handling phone and email inquiries, coordinating price quoting, expediting deliveries and issuing RMAs (Return Material Authorizations). This role reports directly to the Customer Service Manager and will be partially remote and working out of West Chester, PA.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

* Handle all order management activities included, but not limited to, price quote review, order entry with a high level of accuracy, backlog review, and regular communication with customers to keep them informed of order status.

* Receive incoming calls with the goal of immediate resolution or redirect calls to the appropriate associate to support service standards of 95%+ accessibility and first call resolution. Return all calls, where appropriate, with a high sense of urgency.

* Initiate quote cases in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate price quotes with Applications Engineers and Account Managers.

* Promptly respond to incoming sales leads in adherence to defined lead management standard work and responsiveness goals. This requires an ability to communicate professionally and intelligently with potential customers via phone and email.

* Issue RMAs (Return Material Authorizations). Review and validate customer requests for credits/debits, follow-up and obtain approvals, follow quality system procedures, and process paperwork in a timely fashion.

* Assist finance team in following up with customers for delinquent payments.

* Accomplish other job-related duties as assigned by manager.

**Job Requirements**

**Critical Competencies**

* Effectively communicate with various cross functional team members to problem solve and provide our customers with a high level of satisfaction. Partner with Operations team to expedite deliveries as required by customers.

* Strong organizational skills to maintain customer records in accordance with company policy to include orders, quotes, credits and other customer facing documents.

* Strong sense of urgency to promptly address customer issues or complaints with the assistance and/or input of other internal associates.

* 2+ years of experience in a customer service representative role

**Education and Experience Requirements**

* Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

* Experience with Oracle and/or Salesforce is a plus
