Customer Service Representative

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative with 2 or more years of experience for a full-time job, located in Melville, NY. This is an excellent Contract to hire opportunity for someone with previous call center experience.

Responsibilities:

Handle inbound and outbound customer calls regarding product inquiries, order status, and general customer service needs.

Accurately enter and process customer orders, including tracking shipments, returns, and exchanges.

Respond to customer emails and other digital communications in a timely and professional manner.

Resolve customer complaints and issues by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, following up to ensure resolution.

Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers with inquiries.

Collaborate with internal teams such as shipping, inventory, and sales to ensure efficient order processing.

Update customer accounts and order details in the database.

Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products based on customer needs.

Achieve and maintain call center performance metrics such as call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel.

Experience working in an ERP system is required.

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years working with order entry or call center role.

Salary: $24-25/hr
