Job Description As a Customer Service Representative, your role is responsible for delivering excellence in service and contributing to the mission of protecting businesses, people, and time. This role will focus on accurate and timely assisting our customers with scheduling. The Customer service Representative is responsible for collaboration across all levels to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Process high volumes of calls/emails to Support our customers.
  • Enter high volumes of data into the various systems timely and accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service and provide customers with a positive experience.
  • Act as a resource for other functions within AWP.
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries using a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Provide general office support and peer training as requested.
  • Comply with all AWP policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Call center/customer service experience preferred.
  • AR/Billing experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology; strong math skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail; organized.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Outgoing & assertive personality - not afraid to approach individuals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word)
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and Salesforce software preferred.
  • Employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following:
  • Hours of operation are 24/7 365 days a year.
    • Weekend/Evening Shift 10:00-6:00P ET
  • 40-hour work week Primarily sedentary or working at a desk
  • Occasionally lift and move 10 -25 pounds.
  • While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Proficient literacy.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms.
