Job Description Our client is in search of a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role will involve processing customer orders, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery for national retailers and key clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is an in-office position offering flexibility to work from home when needed (ex. Contractors, appointments, etc.) During peak seasons work may exceed 40 hours per week to ensure account requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.   • Process, track, and monitor customer sales orders from entry to fulfillment, ensuring compliance with customer guidelines.
  • Resolve customer issues by identifying the root cause and delivering effective solutions, following up to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Prepare vendor purchase orders and bills, while coordinating with vendors and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate any changes or updates in order status to customers, ensuring expectations are managed.
  • Monitor open sales orders and backorders to ensure delivery commitments are met and deadlines are communicated effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, order details, and account information.
  • Generate reports on customer interactions and order statuses to ensure quality, productivity, and adherence to turnaround time goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to respond to inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies within the order management workflow.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of proven experience in customer service and/or order management.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
