Epitec POSITION: Customer Service Representative JOB TYPE: Customer Service Representative LOCATION: Warren, MI JOB SUMMARY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE: Excellent customer service competencies with an emphasis on soft-skills, customer-focused proactive resolution, and de-escalation tactics. Advanced problem-solving, resolution and decision-making skills, including the ability to quickly understand and analyze new information and complex situations. Exceptional written and verbal business communication skills. Adept at demonstrating empathy in customer interactions and display a relentless desire to resolve challenging customer requests. Position is Fully On Site RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE: Ability to work effectively with others to generate a positive, productive, and informed work environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Internet savvy with Social Media awareness. Working knowledge of multiple computer platforms, browsers, and operating systems. Address and resolve escalations that come into GM's Socrates portal via ‘How to Help a Customer' and ‘Speak Up For Safety'. Provide routine updates to various GM Leaders as to case status and outcome. Passionate and enthusiastic about General Motors' vehicles and products. General awareness about the automotive industry and market trends. Must be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities as business needs evolve. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE: College degree or equivalent industry related business experience Experience providing customer experience via multiple contact channels (phone, live chat, written correspondence, etc) SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE: Superior communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to break apart complex escalations and work cross-functionally with various teams through the enterprise to resolve customer concerns. Act as a mentor or coach for New Hires and work with Team Leader to groom perspective Liaisons for SEAL position.
