About the Role:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is an entry-level position responsible for providing high-quality customer service by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues. The CSR plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate customer records. This position also involves providing detailed product information, assisting with product returns or exchanges, and supporting the sales team with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer communications professionally and efficiently, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries about products, services, and order status to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the system, confirm pricing and discounts, check product availability, and coordinate shipping details to fulfill orders on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying the root cause, providing solutions, and expediting order processing or adjustments as needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Offer comprehensive and accurate information about products, including features, specifications, and usage, to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Manage the return and exchange process by coordinating with customers and internal teams, arranging replacement shipments, and ensuring timely resolution of any issues related to returns.
  • Update and manage customer information and interactions in the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and facilitate effective customer service and follow-up.
  • Assist the sales team with various administrative duties, including preparing sales reports, tracking order status, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
