For 30 years, it has provided products to coolers, packing plants, and food processors. SafetEquip is looking for a customer service representative to provide service/product information to current and new customers. Representatives must be willing to learn the vast product lines in order to suggest information to satisfy customer needs.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and assisting them in our retail store.
- Order/Invoice data entry.
- Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Communicating with customers through various channels phone, email, text.
- Provide timely feedback to company management regarding challenges or customer concerns.
- Manage and prioritize multiple concerns simultaneously.
- A positive attitude, even when faced with misplaced criticism or frustration.
- The ability to learn quickly and move on from both success and failure.
- Answering phones and transferring calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Assisting accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assisting the purchasing department when needed.
- Faxing, scanning, and copying documents.
- Assisting with planning seasonal moves (Salinas to Yuma).
- Pulling orders in warehouse if needed.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a business-related field or Equivalent
- Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers.
- Competent computer skills including MS office. QuickBooks program knowledge a plus.
- Internet skills including: use of e-mails and literacy skills.
- Attention to detail, communication skills, and following through are key.
- Develop knowledge of the industry within the given market.
- Commitment to continual education about the company, products, and services.
- Will Walk, stand, sit.
- Lift over 25 pounds.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pmSaturdays: 9am to 12pm (Rotate weekends)
