Job Description:
Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to ensure exceptional service for all internal and external customers. This role requires building strong relationships and leveraging your in-depth knowledge of our products and programs to meet customer needs.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Respond to all customer inquiries and analyze requests to resolve concerns effectively.
  • Handle incoming calls regarding order status, inventory, pricing, shipping, and more.
  • Authorize merchandise returns and prepare related documentation.
  • Support Production and Sales Managers as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product line, pricing, and promotions.
  • Update orders and document changes such as partial shipments and price adjustments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate quotes for pricing, shipping, and lead times.
  • Manage phone and email requests for purchase orders and order changes.
  • Work with the credit department to resolve disputed items.
  • Communicate feedback on service failures or customer concerns to the company.
  • Partner with the sales team to exceed customer service expectations.
  • Address client complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with production and shipping personnel to expedite delayed shipments.
  • Utilize the company database for relevant customer information.
  • Document all correspondence in the database.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to support office operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Primarily an office setting with regular use of office equipment.
  • Occasional exposure to a shop environment with potential noise and dust.
  • Physical activities include typing, walking, and lifting items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to move and handle office supplies and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:Minimum:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Ability to multi-task in high-stress situations.
  • Strong telephone and email etiquette.
  • Basic hydraulic knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with Epicor ERP (preferred).
  • Background in manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or industrial settings (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must meet physical demands with or without accommodation.

Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Safety glasses
  • Steel toe/composite toe shoes
