Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Security and Installations Directorate (SI) Personnel Security Division's (SISP) Customer Service operation by providing value-added customer service through a full range of services for processing employee, military, and contractor personnel for employment, suitability, fitness requirements as well as assist with reciprocity determinations for background investigations and national security eligibility.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Access data through various systems; DISS, Scattered Castles, JPAS NP2 Portal, DOD SAFE, Glide NGA ECDS, to include Crossmatch Live Scan Fingerprint System.
* Provide positive, well-communicated response and closure of all customer inquiries. Only refer inquiries when the answer cannot be delivered by Customer Support.
* Direct all incoming documentation to the appropriate person or database within 2 business days of receipt.
* Deliver priority messages based on urgency.
* Capture details of all actions in shared log or within the appropriate PeopleSoft security modules.
* Return all phone messages within one business day of receipt.
* Coordinate customer support activities across all Personnel Security Branches as customer inquiries are received to deliver the applicable answers.
* Create and deliver reports and applicable procedure updates on or before the suspense date and with 100 percent accuracy when requested by Division Chief.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* Active TS with SCI eligibility and ability to successfully complete a polygraph examination.
* Bachelor's degree in security or criminal justice or equivalent experience in a related field
* 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
* Experience with DISS, Scattered Castles, NP2 Portal
* Experience processing biometric data to include fingerprints.
