Our agency has helped many local small businesses endure some of the hardest situations by being prepared ahead of time through proper insurance coverage. Ramon Montalvo III is the owner and agent of Montalvo Insurance Agency, a business started by his father and founded on a commitment to customer service. A Certified Insurance Counselor (C.I.C.), Ramon has a degree in business with a major in Insurance from UT Austin and has over 40 years of experience in the field of property and casualty insurance. Ramon has the expertise to fill any insurance need. His in-depth understanding of insurance allows him to advise his clients on the most dependable, cost-effective ways to plan for the future.

Job Summary: As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Montalvo Insurance, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with inquiries and issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and support related to personal line support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide quotes for personal lines in addition to surplus lines quoting.

* Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.

* Process both new business and renewals for customers.

* Skillfully identify and assess customers' needs, delivering appropriate and effective solutions.

* Process payments and submit insurance premiums accurately and in a timely manner.

* Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings to assist customers accurately and efficiently.

* Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions to continuously improve service quality.

Qualifications:

* 4 years as a Customer Service Representative in Insurance.

* Valid Texas State Insurance License.

* Bilingual (English and Spanish)

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.

* Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess clients' needs and recommend appropriate coverage.

* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Technical proficiency with insurance agency management systems.
