Position SummaryThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for greeting customers and assisting them with questions or directing them to the appropriate department/personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities- Promptly greet customers and answer phones; recognizing and responding to sales opportunities individually and through referral selling.
- Support bank campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Assist customers with savings bond redemption.
- Balance travel and gift cards on a monthly basis.
- Process/log incoming mail from USPS/UPS and FedEx.
- Provide on-going maintenance of customers' accounts in person, over the phone, and by email.
Education & ExperienceKnowledge of: - Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to:- Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of time
- Work independently
Education and Training:- Requires High School diploma.
- 1 or more years of banking experience preferred.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
