Position Summary:Must be capable of providing excellent customer service and demonstrate outstanding problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment while taking phone calls and responding to emails. Other duties will require a very detail oriented individual while processing new purchase orders and making revisions/ changes to existing orders according to the established department procedures. Assist in quoting standard product to representatives. Data Entry consists of entering data into multiple computer programs. This position is accountable for being responsive to customer needs and sending leads to representatives.Priorities are Customer Relations, Problem Resolution, and Time Management; must address customer issues efficiently while ensuring effective and long-term problem resolution.Must be Customer Service Oriented, Responsive, Professional.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: apprenticeInform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer. Make changes to or cancel orders/backorders as necessary.Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.Perform customer account maintenance in company systems.Cross reference competitor part numbers.Provide tactical support for EDI process and Remote Warehouses.Assist the outside sales team with customer, literature, sample, and technical information requests.Call customers when necessary to advise shipments delay and/or information necessary to process orders.Talk with customers concerning orders, returns, shipments and products.Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates. Confers with production, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.Must follow all applicable safety procedures.Performs other related duties as required
Required Education and Experience:BS Business Administration, Marketing or related field (preferred) one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. MRP and manufacturing environment experience.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals. Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations such as in relating customer's questions to catalog item variables, and pricing structures.Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong customer orientation.Top notch follow up & follow through

Physical Demands:Individuals will need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting to 25 pounds for files, catalogs, or other material on occasion.
Personal Protective Equipment:Cover toe shoes, or substantial foot ware are required when in the factory. Sandals or flip-flops are not suitable factory attire.
Work Environment:The performance of this position may occasional require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and safety shoes.
