Job Type Full-time Description The Customer Service Representative at Mate Precision Technologies will work to process, quote, and answer questions on new and existing orders. Additionally, they will work with other departments throughout the organization to assure 100% customer satisfaction on all processed orders. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge and respond to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Enter orders accurately into the Direct Order Entry (DOE) program, meeting the performance expectations established by management.
- Be available for incoming calls in the queue during the work shift.
- Demonstrate professionalism while interacting via email and/or phone.
- Check customer profiles prior to entering quotes and/or orders to ensure that each customer's profile is kept current.
- Follow all requirements related to new product training, system improvements, and departmental procedures.
- Display a positive attitude and maintain respect for customers and peers.
- Provide accurate quotes and product pricing to customers in an efficient manner.
- Follow all instructions listed in the Online Resource / Customer Service Department Guidelines for specific departmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with others, is open-minded, responsive, and supportive of others' efforts to succeed.
- Demonstrates integrity by being dependable, having good judgment, being honest, and taking responsibility for their actions.
- Respectful of others, encouraging others to share their ideas, actively listening to others, and having common courtesy.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 6-12 months of Customer Service experience and training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Strong professional writing skills.
- Ability to type proficiently and accurately.
- Efficient computer skills.
- Experience in computer software including Excel, Word, Outlook, Contact Management, Calendar scheduling, and ERP software is required.
- Ability to calculate numerical figures and amounts for discounts, percentages, perimeters, tonnage, and commissions.
- Ability to apply basic geometry.
- The ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
- Fluent in a foreign language, specifically Spanish or French, is a plus.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- The ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods is required.
- The ability to lift up to 15 pounds, at times, is required.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Pay, Work Schedule & Benefits:
- Hourly Wage: $24.17 - $29.15/Hour
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am- 5:30 pm
