DescriptionTotal Distribution, Inc. has an immediate opening in the Akron area for a full-time experienced Customer Service Representative to support our warehouse operation. Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.$17.00/hourGOING BEYOND LOGISTICS FOR A BETTER SOLUTIONWe are an essential business with over 100 years of experience - operational throughout the pandemic.We strive to provide a safe work environment for our valued employees.We offer a competitive wage structure, a comprehensive benefits package after 60 days, and paid time off during your first year of employment.How you will contribute to the success of the company and grow your career:Process and input customer orders, both inbound and outbound.Create and monitor warehouse work requests.Monitor inbound/outbound material activity and print order labels based on customer requirements.Trace shipped orders and notify customers of all activity concerning their merchandise.Perform warehouse functions as requested, including opening and closing procedures.Run inventory reports to check for product availability.Perform daily customer-specific reporting tasks.Engage with customers via phone, email, or in person.Responsible for filing and data entry.Keep accurate records of customers' material while at site and in transit.Adhere to the site's quality and safety standards.What you need to excel:Minimum of 2 years working in a warehouse or equivalent environment preferred.Good organizational and communication skills.Basic computer skills required - familiarity with Microsoft Office programs preferred.Capable of making sound judgment calls independently.Motivated to perform daily tasks without prompting.Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and contract information.High school diploma or GED equivalent.Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening.#J-18808-Ljbffr
