The ideal candidate will be empathetic, efficient, and solutions-oriented, ensuring that all customer inquiries, concerns, and requests are addressed promptly and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering customer satisfaction while supporting the company's goals.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Support: Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and chat inquiries regarding services, billing, account status, scheduling, and other general inquiries.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Account Management: Maintain customer records in the company's database, including updating contact information, service preferences, and billing details.
- Billing & Payments: Address billing inquiries, process payments, and assist customers with understanding their invoices or charges.
- Education & Advocacy: Educate customers about sustainability practices, recycling programs, and waste reduction initiatives to promote environmentally friendly behavior.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (operations and sales) to ensure customer requests are handled seamlessly and that service issues are communicated effectively.
- Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback and suggestions for service improvement and relay relevant information to management for continuous improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards while handling customer interactions.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a service-oriented or environmental field.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong management and organizational skills.
- Highly developed logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Office Suite software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle sensitive or escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy.
