The Customer Service Representative role is an exciting opportunity to support the Sherman, TX, North America Parts Warehouse Emerson team. You will guarantee a positive customer experience and build strong relationships with our customers in every interaction, whether by phone or email. You will ensure quick and reliable processing of customer requests, as well as manage speedy and knowledgeable responses to assist customers at any stage of the order and pro-actively solve any problems.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:* Provide superior customer service by managing all aspects of the customer perception utilizing customer relationship techniques and communication skills.* Act as the liaison between the customer and warehouse operations to ensure that customer expectations are met.* Follow up, either verbally or in writing, to every customer request and inquiry within 24-48 hours.* Review and research customer inquiries and issues while obtaining necessary information from company policies, procedures, processes, and practices.* Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate staff to maintain and improve required customer requested ship dates.* Facilitate customer expedites and emergency orders by participating in an on-call rotation that requires responding to customer emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during assigned call shift.* Help implement lean manufacturing techniques into the Parts Warehouse.Who You Are:You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.
