CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
: Job Details :

Performs outside field work involving completing service interruptions for delinquent accounts, and service orders for connections and disconnections; investigates complaints in the field for overcharges and defective meters; investigates field leaks and unauthorized usage. Maintains service order records, corrects errors, and tags doors when required; handles management inquiries and escalated field investigations for customers.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service or meter reading work involving public contact.PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH: Water/other utility outside field work; basic plumbing; office equipment. Also desirable: Knowledge of the Palm Beach County geographic area (must specify on application); bi/trilingual (English/Creole/Spanish).Must be able to lift 60 pounds. Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
