Job Description:

We are seeking a Health Care Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to healthcare customers. This position involves handling inbound and outbound calls and emails, offering accurate information, and supporting customers using a variety of computer applications and resources. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, excellent multitasking abilities, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and relevant information to healthcare customers.
  • Use a database to retrieve customer or company information, ensuring that all details are up to date.
  • Follow detailed instructions to provide accurate responses, demonstrating patience, tact, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organize and manage calls and emails efficiently, ensuring speed and accuracy in all communications.
  • Work with complex computer applications and resources to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, multitasking, and the ability to handle varying customer needs.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) while knowing when to seek assistance from supervisors or colleagues.
  • Continuously improve by scoring 80% or higher on all training assessments.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service or related role, preferably in healthcare.
  • A 4-year equivalent college degree.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
  • Strong multitasking ability and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage calls, emails, and customer interactions with accuracy.
  • Ability to learn and follow detailed instructions, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Demonstrates patience, tact, empathy, and a professional demeanor when handling customer interactions.
  • Ability to use multiple computer systems and applications efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP or any other ERP system.
  • A background in the healthcare industry.
