Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:
* Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
* Processing customer orders
* Checking availability of stock and shipping dates
* Quoting prices, filling order to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer
* Assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products
* Learn and develop expertise within the product lines
* Manage and reconcile expense reports
* Maintain a positive, friendly, enthusiastic, proactive, willing to learn attitude
* Maintain a customer focused and customer driven attitude
* Maintain safe operations by adhering to and assisting with implementation and management of all safety procedures and regulations
* Support corporate, branch and government initiatives such as tobacco & drug free workplace and safety programs
* Assisting with sourcing and procurement of goods and services
* Manage and maintain organization of records
* Assisting with shipping and receiving
* Assisting with daily operation and management of branch
* Periodically travel for training or other business purposes
* Periodically attend and assist at trade shows or seminars
* Maintain valid drivers license
* Other clerical or warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:
* Experience within a chemical plant, industrial or manufacturing facility, or oil field
* Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Must have ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
* Must have friendly, positive, enthusiastic attitude with willingness to learn
* Must have and demonstrate a customer focus and customer driven attitude
* Prefer previous experience with inside sales or customer service
* Demonstrated ability to learn computer programs quickly
* Must be able to work independently while functioning within a team environment
* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
* Must be able to read and interpret manufacturer instruction manuals or bill of materials
* Must have valid drivers license
* Must be able to travel periodically for training or business purposes
* Must be willing to learn and develop
* Tobacco is prohibited on location premises in order to provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Additional Information:
Physical Demand: Must be able to lift 25lbs and operate machinery
Working Conditions: Primarily office environment, but will also be exposed to an industrial & warehouse environment (heat, noise, dirt, fumes, etc.)
Training/Certifications: Professional Skilled Training is a plus
Shift Time/Overtime: Typical work is 7:30-4:30 and overtime can be required but is limited
Travel: Occasional overnight travel is required but very limited
Education: Although not required, college degree or other forms of education is a plus
