**Customer Service Representative- Seymour, CT**

**Thule Inc, Seymour CT**

**INTERACTION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS:** Production, Marketing, Inside Sales, Engineering, IT, Shipping, Finance, Credit/AR, Sales, Product Management, Customer Marketing, HR Purchasing, Quality and Receiving

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

- Provide overall customer support to Consumer population by accurately researching and responding in a professional and timely manner to Consumer inquiries made by phone, e-mail and mail inquiries.

- Enter consumer orders for spare parts into ERP system, trace and expedite late consumer orders as required.

- Provide support for team members as required.

- Ability to accurately respond to inquiries based on assigned skill set(s).

- Provide support to the Dealer team during peak seasons:

- Assist order entry of Dealer orders

- Support dealer phones as needed

- Provide support to the Department by

- Responding to e-mail social media inquiries received over Thule web

- Update answer console in the RightNow Technology System

- Adhere to the companys quality procedures as required

- Mandatory overtime during peak seasons as required

- Perform duties as assigned by department managers

**RECOMMENDED POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

- College degree preferred

- Experience dealing with heavy phone activity, while maintaining a professional phone demeanor

- Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills

- Excel, Word and office applications experience

- ability to navigate web

- Well-organized, able to work in a team and independently

- ability to multi-task and to prioritize workload requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing consumer goods industry customer service environment a plus

- Working knowledge of ERP system a plus
