ROLE DESCRIPTION: I am seeking an experienced customer service person to join my State Farm Insurance Agency. We are growing and very busy helping customers each day. You will be responsible for answering the phone, policy changes, billing/cancellations, inside sales and managing the office needs. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. You will answer customer inquiries, coordinate tasks with agency team members, prepare reports and anticipate the needs of the growing Agency. I look forward to connecting with you if you are licensed in Property & Casualty insurance and have been working in the industry for at least 1 year. Your customer-focused background and understanding of the industry will enable you to get a quick start in our Agency. You can anticipate internal growth opportunities in this role for especially driven candidates. Although I am looking for a full-time person, I would consider modified hours for the right candidate.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate existing customers about insurance options and recommend policies.
  • Use your communication skills to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
  • Participate in fun, competitive office promotions and contribute to Agency goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have your Property & Casualty License and be able to obtain your Life & Health License
  • Dedicated to customer service.
  • Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to assist customers and coordinate with agency team members.
  • Proactive in problem-solving.
  • Create and implement efficient office systems.
