Randstad's largest client in Farmingdale, NY, is hiring a Temporary Customer Service Representative to join their team on a seasonal basis, available until January 2025. We are looking for a positive and energetic individual with excellent customer service skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. In this role, you'll handle a high volume of calls, emails, and online chats from customers, providing prompt and professional assistance. Schedule: This position requires availability for four weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and either Saturday or Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No prior office experience is necessary, and applicants with experience in retail or food service are encouraged to apply! • Assisting customers in telephone sales and online support through Live Chat and E-Mail
• Selling extended service protection plans and product installations on selected merchandise
• Offer excellent customer support for customer's who have purchased items on PCRichard.com or at one of our 66 showrooms
• Review of online orders to provide online fraud protection
• Tracking and expediting orders on a daily basis
• Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet
• Gain knowledge of current and new products with the ability to communicate their features and benefits to customers
• Attend product and sales training meetings as requested by sales management
