Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking to fill a Full Time Customer Service Representative working 40 hours per week at our branch in Winter Harbor.
Our Customer Service Representatives represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner while providing prompt, efficient and accurate service to our customers. They are responsible for processing a wide variety of transactions while deepening existing customer relationships and identifying sales opportunities. In this role you can expect to: Process a variety of transactions for customers while seeking opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships and identify sales opportunities. Including, but not limited to:
o Basic account opening and maintenance;o Deposits, withdrawals, transfers; and o All Teller transactions including Vaults and ATMs.
Be responsible for providing following up, effective resolution, and customer satisfaction in response to a variety of customer inquiries. Recognize and make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance and other banking services. Understand and begin to contribute towards meeting branch goals in deposits, loans and other categories. Be responsible for adhering to regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act. Comprehend and adhere to federal banking regulations in accordance with Bar Harbor Bank & Trusts policies and procedures.
This entry-level role is focused on learning general banking knowledge and mastering routine transactions, to include basic account opening. Customer service experience and a working knowledge of Windows are essential for this position. An individual who enjoys being part of a fast paced, collaborative environment will be best matched for this position.
