Tri State Distributors has an immediate opening for a dependable full-time Customer Service Representative position at our Wetumpka, AL branch location. This position works five days weekly, no weekends . Established in 1983, Tri State Distributors has expanded to cover the southeastern United States as one of the leading suppliers serving the LP gas, BBQ, and Hearth industries. The company takes pride in maintaining traditional values of fair, dependable and courteous service to all their valued customers. Each branch location is a free-standing profit center within the multi-branch company. Monday - Friday, No Weekends Primary responsibilities include:
- Prior scheduling and AP/AR experience a plus
- Utilizing reports to enhance inside sales
- Working hand in hand with Outside Sales force
- Order entry
- Quote preparation
- Conduct sales calls
- Receive products as needed

- Experience with hearth preferred
- High School or equivalent education
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Basic PC skills required, including proficiency in MS Office/MS Teams and internet applications
- Experience in outdoor kitchen industry is a plus
- Multitasking and the ability to make/receive a large volume of calls
- Ability to talk with customers by phone and receive orders
- Strong customer service background required
- Professional phone etiquette skills a must
- Inside Sales experience in a high-volume environment preferred
- Data Entry skills required
- Maintaining orderly paperwork
- Experience in Profit 21 (P21) software preferred
- HVAC experience a plus
